Brief: To balance this newly extended continuous living space.  Design a multi purpose kitchen and lifestyle area to accommodate a busy family and social life.  Our clients run cooking and nutrition classes from this space so the additional hand washing sink is essential, spacious and distinctive zones for prep, clean up and cooking are always important - especially so here. This linear scheme works well. 

The timber centre piece works hard in this kitchen, a preparation area for multiple students in a teaching environment and for family mealtimes etc -  this oak circle is the focal point for serving drinks and meals when entertaining guests.  The shape and material soften the penisula in the design, bringing with it a sense of comfort and luxury.
