Blue Marble
To achieve this kitchen design, we focused on the principles of simplicity and balance. Simplicity is at the centre of modern design, flat-panel cabinetry, and a restrained colour palette. The use of integrated appliances and minimal hardware to maintains clean appearance.
Balance is created through the thoughtful use of contrasting elements, such as the deep blue cabinetry paired with light marble textures, and warm wood floors juxtaposed against cool gray walls. This interplay of light and dark tones, along with the mix of soft and bold textures, ensures visual harmony without overwhelming the space.
Another key principle here is functionality, which combines an aesthetic thinking with practical usability. The layout ensures seamless workflow, with a large island at the center serving as a multipurpose space for food preparation, dining, and socialising. Lighting is both functional and decorative, with pendant lights providing focused illumination while adding a interesting industrial touch.
The use of natural light from tall windows and glass doors not only enhances the space’s openness but also connects the indoors with the outdoors, creating a more inviting and dynamic environment. By applying these principles, the design maintains a balance of style and utility.
